SnapNames publishes final DomainFest live auction catalog

SnapNames Live Auction LogoSnapNames has now published the final catalog for the upcoming DomainFest Global live auction. Also available for download is the extended catalog which lists additional domains that will be auctioned on the standard SnapNames auction platform for a period of 7 days, starting January 24th at 5pm PST.

The Live Auction sessions begin promptly at 4:00pm PST on Tuesday and Wednesday, January 22 and 23, both online and from DOMAINfest Global. For remote attendees, the live auction site requires a plugin that is available for download now and works with Windows XP, IE and Firefox. The plugin is called “Online Ringman” and is also used by Christie’s, Public Auto Auctions and the State of Florida.

The auction will also encompass the Grassroots.org “Domains For Change” charity auction, which lists such names as Cared.com, LowIncomeMortgages.com, Pleasure.net as well as fun domains like KevinHamforPresident.com and FrankSchillingForPresident.com.

Domains for Change - An Opportunity to Lend a Helping Hand

Grassroots.org is organizing a massive auction entitled “Domains for Change.” The purpose of the auction is to use the money made from donated domain sales to help out thousands of charities from around the world.

The auction, which is taking place at DOMAINFest Hollywood 2008, is relying on people like you to donate their domains to help the cause.
